USSSA Baseball -"More Kids Playing
More Baseball"
The primary focus of USSSA Baseball is the development of programs that
allow for teams of all skill levels to compete against one another.
USSSA believes the overall development of all players can be enhanced by
the experience and fun of state and national tournament play. Until now the
majority of players were denied this opportunity because of their skill
level.
USSSA Baseball offers programs for five levels of play. Major,
AAA, AA and Allstar programs are national programs that culminate in a
World Series / National Championships.
Classification guidelines-
Each State will adopt an acceptable method to classify teams. The main
criteria for classifying teams shall be the overall defensive and
offensive strength and overall experience of the team.

| Leagues that sanction their teams with USSSA
Baseball are given state berths for all classes of play. This will give more teams an opportunity to play at the
state / national
level. No longer does just the leagues best team advance out
of the league. |
Tournaments may also be USSSA sanctioned. This
will allow Tournament Directors to award State or World Series
berths to tournament winners. This will allow teams that do
not play in sanctioned leagues to participate in
USSSA. |
