The primary focus of USSSA Baseball is the development of programs that allow for teams of all skill levels to compete against one another. USSSA believes the overall development of all players can be enhanced by the experience and fun of state and national tournament play. Until now the majority of players were denied this opportunity because of their skill level.
USSSA Baseball offers programs for five levels of play. Major, AAA, AA and Allstar programs are national programs that culminate in a World Series / National Championships.
USSSA receives group rates that benefit our teams, facility owners and participants. In addition the coverage, including deductibles, is carefully designed by USSSA in conjunction with our underwriter to meet the needs of USSSA teams, facility owners and participants. We encourage our teams, facility owners and participants to purchase USSSA insurance. Otherwise, there is no clear way to be comfortable that the coverage, deductible and cost are suited for USSSA teams, facility owners and participants. Click Here for USSSA Insurance.
Leagues that sanction their teams with USSSA Baseball are given state berths for all classes of play. This will give more teams an opportunity to play at the state / national level. No longer does just the leagues best team advance out of the league.
Tournaments may also be USSSA sanctioned. This will allow Tournament Directors to award State or World Series berths to tournament winners. This will allow teams that do not play in sanctioned leagues to participate in USSSA.
